Raising the Dead

There will come a day that I will lay my hands upon a corpse and take them off a living person. I know it in my bones. Today it crystallized for me that I need to get the Word on this deep in my heart to support this “feeling”. So here’s a start on the scriptures that the Spirit brought to mind this morning:

“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” (Matthew 10:8)

Jesus told John’s disciples, “Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have the gospel preached to them.” (Luke 7:22)

And Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.” (John 14:12) Therefore, since Jesus raised people from the dead, then I (who believe in Jesus) will do the same works!
